2015 Cattaraugus County Activities Guide Advertising
Preparations for the 2015 Cattaraugus County Activities Guide have already begun. We will be creating a guide that accentuates our major assets and the attractions and events that make Cattaraugus County an exciting place to visit and showcases the total four-season experience you can have here in The Enchanted Mountains. There will be production of about 125,000 copies. All advertising must be for tourism-related businesses and events that are family-friendly.
Our guide is used in numerous outlets and for multiple purposes. We attend or are represented at over 20 travel/trade shows and fairs each year throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts and Ontario, Canada. We distribute 65,000 copies in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and other WNY and NW Pennsylvania locations using distribution services. Locally, we provide distribution within our three county regions at brochure racks, visitor centers and attraction sites including Ellicottville, Olean and Salamanca. In addition to these sources for distribution, this guide is featured in BOTH I-86 Information Centers (one in Allegany and the other in Bemus Point). Our guide is also used as a recruiting tool to entice workers to our area.
One change we have made this year, is that no "special rates" will be included in lodging advertisements.
Please take time to look over the advertising options that are included below. We believe that you will find this is a great bargain for your advertising dollars. The cost per issue to reach potential visitors is minimal compared to the impact of the guide.
